Synopsis
Hikaru Shindo is an ordinary sixth-grader in Japan, known for his two-tone hair and playful antics. One day, while searching through his grandfather’s attic, he discovers an old, bloodstained Go board. This seemingly ordinary find changes his life forever. Trapped inside the board is Fujiwara-no-Sai, the spirit of an ancient Go master who once taught the Emperor of Japan. In a twist of fate, Sai becomes a part of Hikaru’s consciousness.
Together, Hikaru and Sai form an unstoppable Go-playing team. As Hikaru’s interest in the ancient game grows, he embarks on a journey to master Go, aiming to uncover the legendary “Divine Move” that Sai has long sought. Along the way, they face formidable opponents who have dedicated their lives to the game. Will Hikaru and Sai’s unique bond and combined skills be enough to conquer the world of Go and allow Sai to finally rest in peace?
