Synopsis:
“Shuriken and Pleats” follows the story of Mikage Kirio, a skilled ninja who has been serving a nobleman in modern-day Japan. Despite being trained to follow orders without question, Mikage longs for a normal life. When her master is killed, she is given the opportunity to live as an ordinary girl, but her past as a ninja constantly catches up with her. Mikage must balance her desire for a peaceful life with the dangerous missions she’s drawn into, as well as the shadowy figures from her past who continue to pursue her.
