Synopsis:
Takao Kasuga, a reserved middle school student with a passion for literature, particularly Baudelaire’s Les Fleurs du mal, finds his life upended after he impulsively steals the gym clothes of his classmate and crush, Nanako Saeki. This act is witnessed by Sawa Nakamura, a socially ostracized girl who seizes the opportunity to blackmail Kasuga into a “contract,” compelling him to engage in a series of transgressive acts. As Kasuga becomes entangled in Nakamura’s schemes, he is forced to confront the darker aspects of his psyche and the oppressive conformity of his rural town. The narrative delves deep into themes of adolescent turmoil, identity, and the struggle between societal expectations and personal desires.​
